Newport Festivals Foundation has made a donation on behalf of Sheryl to Adopt a Classroom. The funds from this donation will go to a high school in Sheryl's hometown, Kennett, Missouri – allowing Kennett High School's band program to update existing sound/recording system within the band room. With this new equipment, Kennett will be able to record and have evaluative discussions about music and how to improve students' overall performance.
Quote from Sheryl Crow
“Teaching is the most important job that exists," said Sheryl Crow. "That's why I am such a big fan of AdoptAClassroom.org.” The nonprofit funds teachers so they can buy the supplies they need for their classrooms and students, without having to spend their own money.
Quote from Ann Pifer, executive director
